SALON BUILD / FIT-OUT & REFURBISHMENT

This can be the most difficult part of the journey to achieve the vision. There are so many crucial elements, including the fire alarms, the health and safety aspects which are so important these days. Questions about the new wc which might have to be disabled friendly, and emergency exits routes in case of fire. The regulations are multiple and must be achieved as required with guidelines.

 

Then there are the issues with good quality plumbing to ensure that there is a decent supply of hot water to all service stations. The drainage is crucial so it does not get clogged with hair, or thrown away waste. After that come the electrics which need to be checked and professionally certified. The fuse box must be of a certain minimal standard to achieve certification. These considerations will be necessary when obtaining insurance for the Salon.

BUILDING A SALON

The materials used to build need to be of decent quality, so that the build lasts with good integrity. Our builders are all experienced with building new Salons or fitting out existing Salons. Frequently we are asked to fit out an existing business with a minimum of disruption to the existing business. We will discuss the various options of doing that work to minimise loss of income.

 

Most times we do need a core number of days to ourselves to do the basic build work that causes dust and must be cleaned before handing back the Salon. But we know how to create the timetable to cover those nasty and dusty elements. Its all about discussing the options. We provide quotes which cover all the elements of the build in list form so there is an opportunity to add or subtract items.
